Ege Taşar is a Research Analyst covering the Balkan countries within the Emerging and Frontier Europe markets. He joined East Capital in November 2025. Prior to joining East Capital, Ege worked as an analyst and associate in the Research Department at İş Investment and in the Corporate Lending & Project Finance Department at ING Türkiye. Earlier in his career, he also worked at KPMG.

Ege holds a master’s degree in Finance from Vanderbilt University Owen Graduate School of Management in Nashville, USA, and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Galatasaray University in Istanbul. He speaks Turkish and English.
