East Capital Group expands sales team to support strong momentum and growing demand for real assets
East Capital Group is pleased to announce the expansion of its sales team with the appointment of Vanessa Linzander. The recruitment reflects continued strong momentum and high client flows, particularly from institutional investors, and underlines the group’s focus on further strengthening its distribution capabilities.
The expansion comes at a time of strong demand for East Capital Group’s strategies, with increasing interest across real assets. In her new role, Vanessa Linzander will focus on institutional sales, with particular emphasis on real assets, supporting the group’s growth ambitions in this area.
Strengthening coverage in the DACH region remains a key priority. Working alongside Anja Wahlscheidt in institutional sales, the appointment of Vanessa Linzander further reinforces an already strong team by adding further institutional and real assets expertise. Vanessa’s fluency in German and international background complements the existing coverage and supports continued close and long-term engagement with institutional investors across the region.

Vanessa Linzander joins East Capital Group from Första AP-fonden (AP1), where she most recently served as Senior Portfolio Manager, Alternative Investments. She brings more than 15 years of experience across real estate, infrastructure and other alternative assets, with a strong background in portfolio management, fund and co-investment strategies, ESG integration and collaboration with global institutional investors.
